039- something on your face
039 – “something on your face”
(FRONT)
If you had something on your face,
like a piece of food or a booger
or something, I would tell you.
(INSIDE)
Eventually.
I might take a moment first
to enjoy how stupid you look
as you’re eating or talking
or whatever it is you’re doing,
totally oblivious to the thing on your face.
But eventually, I’d tell you.
NOTE: Card number 039 went to press with a typo on it: instead of “something on your face”, the front says, “a something on your face”. Which still makes sense, but isn’t quite correct, and wasn’t quite intended.
An actual Sappycard measures 5 x 7 inches (A7 standard), is professionally printed on archival quality, richly colored 80# or 100# cardstock, and comes with an envelope. Cards may arrive unfolded but neatly scored. Actual colors may vary slightly from colors on computer monitor. Website images have been zoomed for readability.
All Sappycards papers are 100% recycled (mostly 100% Post-Consumer, a few 50% and 30%). Most papers were created using Total Chlorine Free or Elemental Chlorine Free processes. All envelopes are 100% Post-consumer recycled content. All inks are vegetable-based. Series VI papers were created using 100% Hydropower. All orders are packed and shipped using recycled paper materials.
The background designs of Series IV and VI come from my collection of what the Mailpiece Design Analyst at my local Post Office told me were called “mailpiece security screens,” those designs they print on the insides of envelopes to prevent people from reading through the paper.
